- Director of Junior Athletes in Wheelchair Sports and Junior Wheelchair Sports Camp from 1985–2005
- Directed the Best of the West Quad Rugby Tournament from 1995–2001
- Directed the Multi–Ability Games from 1994–1996
- Directed the U.S. Open Wheelchair Tennis Championship in 1998
- Founded and directed Day at the Bay Adaptive Aquatic Camp from 1996–2000
- She was a Supervising Recreation Specialist with City of Swiss Therapeutic Recreation Services for 20 years
- B.S. in Recreation Administration with an emphasis on Recreation Therapy and is currently earning a M.S. in Leadership with emphasis on Non–Profit management at the University of Swiss
- Nationally and State certified Recreation Therapist
- Swiss Park and Recreation Directors Award in 1994, 1998, 2000 and 2001
- CPRS, District XII, Full Time Professional Award 2001
- Crusberg Award from Pacific Women’s Sports Foundation 2002
- Blaze Sports Fund Development Achievement Award 2005 and 2006
- California Park and Recreation Society Part-Time Professional Award in 1996
